RapidCompact reaches the final for Hessischer Gründerpreis 2020
We’re very pleased and excited to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the ‘Innovative Business Idea’ category of the Hessischer Gründerpreis 2020. Launched in 2002, the prestigious Hessischer Gründerpreis celebrates start-ups based in Hesse, Germany.
Originally developed at the Fraunhofer Society, RapidCompact automates the conversion of high-quality, optimized 3D assets for any platform including web, mobile, AR, and XR. The software is trusted by top corporations, and enables its users to scale their processes and overcome the 3D content bottleneck.
The companies that made it through to the final were announced yesterday morning via YouTube.
It is an honour to be named among such innovative businesses. We’re looking forward to the finals which will take place in Kassel at the end of November.
The two other finalists in the Innovative Business Idea category are the digital logistics company doks. innovation and Teaballs, producer of water-soluble tablets made from 100% plant extract which can be used to make tea and hot drinks.
We wish best of luck to all finalists.
“RapidCompact saves us a lot of work, because we used to have to generate a different quality manually every time we wanted a new version out of an existing high-resolution 3D file. It’s very complicated to perform this kind of optimization by hand, so RapidCompact must be doing some sort of magic because it offers us abilities not available in any other service.” – Albert Ortig, CEO of Roomle.
